Infibeam is fraud. Some of the products are not genuine and Poor after sales service. They don't even provide a return option. Once I purchased an induction cooktop which didn't seem genuine and wanted to return but I couldn't. I contacted infibeam through email but they didn't provide any help. Ps- better not to buy anything from infibeam

i had booked and paid for air conditioner. After payment, even for 15 days they did not ship the product and kept giving some excuses. I asked them to atleast refund my money so that i can look at other products, they did not accept that as well. At one point their customer service told me "do whatever you want" Finally I had to seek legal help and served them 3 legal notices. They refunded the amount after 1 month. I already even had prepared papers to file case in court. Stay away from Infibeam, they are a fraud company. I have not experienced any other online shopping company who are cheating customers.

Infibeam - Cheating the customer by putting false information in check out page

Hi I bought an apple ipad on 9th June with Rs 3000 discount and with instant cashback emi option. The total payable amount came around 48504. During the check out they have collected the Interest amount on behalf of the bank which is Rs 3264 and the EMI amount they mentioned as Rs 4064 for 12 months. Process ========= 1)I selected the 12 months EMI option from ICICI bank 2)Interest Amount was Rs3264 3)Monthly installment was Rs 4064 4)And I agree to pay the interest amount of Rs3264 with the Net payable of Rs 45504 5)In the Payment Gateway I paid Rs 48504 . Problem in EMI is now. Bank is charging me more than that of the EMI mentioned in infibeam check out page. As per my ICIC statement it is showing the principle amount as Rs 3822.84 and Interest amount as Rs 507.85. The total current EMI is coming to Rs 4330.69 which is too high as promised in the checkout page (Rs 4064). Based on the infibeam website check out page i placed the order since the deal was good comparing other online retailier like Flipkart. I was totally shocked by the Infibeam regarding there double standards followed by them. I raised my concern through email(which was useless). They took more than a month for the reply to email after multiple follows up. Finally i got a call(18th July) from customer care stated that there is no mistake from the infibeam side. They have pulled back their promo code worth Rs 3000 (During check out, with out my knowledge) and they sent the total amount value 48504 to the bank for EMI conversion. My bank converted the amount with the EMI which is very high comparing what Infibeam mentioned in the check out page. My Questions to infibeam why you are advertising so fancily about your offers and they cheating the customer with your cheap tactics? If you guys remove the promocode during the check out i woudnt have bought from infibeam and i may went to apple local retailer for by purchase. This is completely cheating by Infibeam.com. Please stay away from this cheap double standard and worst customer care service from Infibeam.com

Someone from Infibeam calls me and asks, would you like to have White color phone instead of black, I said let me check with my partner, for whom i have ordered this, he said it will be shipped in Two-Three days. I said i will let you know in a while.

Called back to their Customer Service number, described the above call, and i asked what is the difference (price), he says wait for a minute, waited for a while, he comes up with the answer and says phone is costly now, i said black color has high value, so pay me the difference, he says i have to check and will revert it back. I replied affirmative, after a while he says he have to check whether it can be deleivered in next two-three days, i said i got a previous call where they said it will be delievered in 2-3 days...but he wants to confirm the deleivery date and difference.....

Now I have to wait again till evening, for delivery date and the difference.

P.S: Difference between black and white color is 2000 INR....Should i claim 2000 difference??

Ordered ASUS Zenfone 5 with Infibeam on 11th December, 2014 and It was supposed to be shipped on 13th December, as i required phone at the earliest, I shoot them email that please ship the order on 12th December or earliest, i even told them i can collect it from their office it possible.(As i live in same city as infibeam is base on(Ahmedabad)). I didnt received any response from them on this mail. After 13th, when i checked my dashboard under my orders, order was not correct. I was pheeewwww... I have already paid them in full and still under my orders, order was not correct. I called them and they said issue will be resolved in 24 hours, and phone will be dispatched soon. I called them on 14, 15, 16 December and to my surprise, no one cares for us, they only make false promises. They said as you are not able to see correct order on infibeam, they sent correct order id with details on my email. Email was sent on 15th decemeber and it showed maximum delivery date is 16th December. Called them on 16th December, and they say that they dont have phone at their house, they have placed the order with Asus and it will be available in one day or two and will be shipped soon. I asked how soon, they say dont know exact time....Again false promise of one day or two. I have been pissed consumer at Infibeam.com. I dont know whether i will get a phone or i have to cancell order with them....Giving them two more days. They will be doing amazing business, using consumers/customers money for 6-7 days, if they do it with 100-200 customers, see how much they will be making just by using that money. #Infibeam #PatheticService #PatheticCustomerService. Infibeam fails on 1) User Experience 2) Website Issue - Wrong Order ID shown 3) Customer Service 4) Making False Promises (Multiple Times) 5) No Satisfaction at all. I think this the first time in my online shopping experience i have faced these many issues. Infibeam Team, you need to realise it soon or you will regret it later.

Ordered a NEW Acer desktop instead received a USED AND REPAIRED UNIT

The reason I shopped in infibeam was on the hope that their customer service would stand behind you. I should have read their reviews before buying. I ordered an acer desktop on July 2nd 2014 which was listed as new(infact Infibeam proudly states that everything on their website is new), on arrival the acer labelled cardboard box that it arrived in had all its seals broken. But i thought to myself, ok maybe they opened the box to verify the contents and so gave them the benefit of doubt. But to my horror on examining the metal cabinet of the desktop , I realized that the cabinet had been opened and shod-illy fitted back. I had paid by credit card and so did not get a chance to examine the contents before paying, otherwise I would have sent it right back. So I have essentially got a USED and REPAIRED computer, when it should have been brand new. Now what makes things worse, is the customer service of infibeam. I contact them and they first insist that the package the computer arrived in was damaged, so straight up they were trying to pass on the buck to the courier company. I had to make 2 calls to their customer service to drill it into their heads that the package arrived without any damage and that it was no fault of the courier company. So now they pretend to be concerned tell me to send them multiple pictures of the cabinet as well as the box and that they would have my issue resolved. I had to email them 3 times with pictures before they could actually find my email. They said they would get back with me in a few days, its been 6 weeks and I have not heard from the, I continue to email their customer service but they choose to ignore me. If I would have to do it again I would not touch them with a 10 feet pole. I say RUN away from them, even if you find their price lower, you might just get a USED and REPAIRED unit. I am not the kind of person to write reviews, but I am writing this now, because Infibeam has frustrated me so much and has essentially CHEATED me here that I thought I should at least warm other people. I have had much better luck with Flipkart only caution while shopping from flipkart is to buy it from the seller WS Retal, which is Flipkart's own fulfilment division. I am in no way associated with flipkart, but their transactions have always left a smile on my face.

Awesome Experience

Had seen a lot of negative reviews on different forums for Infibeam therefore was skeptical to buy from them. But then I saw an awesome deal for a Samsung phone which was not available on any other sites I usually shop with. I decided to take the risk of placing an order with them. They sent me an email stating product would be shipped by 18th of June and delivered by 21st. To my surprise it was shipped on the 17th itself well within their time frame and was delivered to me on the 19th. Packaging of the product was really good and the phone is working in excellent condition. Not sure about the reviews shown online but would definitely purchase again from them and recommend it to my friends.

Fraud - Infibeam portal

I placed an order on the 4th of Mar '14 - the site said the item would be shipped in 2 days, and then I got a mail saying it would be delivered within 2 days. On the 10th of March, I get a mail stating my delivery has been delayed due to "unforseen circumstances" and now my order would be "shipped on 12th" When I call their customer care - they simply say it would be shipped on 12th - no reason no apologies for the lie/ fraud they play with a customer who has already paid in advance !! Never shop at this site again !!!

I HAD PLACED ORDER FOR TWO BOOKS,THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOKS ARE DORIS LESSING AND MONA KNAPP AND IT COST ME RS.1222/-. THE ORDER NO.1097**** WAS PLACED ON 18/06/2013(THE SCREENSHOT OF THE CONFIRMATION IS SAVED WITH US) AND TODAY, THE 20TH OF JUNE WHEN I READ A COMPLAINT IN THE NET, TRIED TO TRACK THE POSITION OF MY ORDER ONLY TO BE FILLED WITH DESPAIR. I WOULD LIKE TO CAUTION MY FELLOW CUSTOMERS WHO ARE ALLURED BY THE SAID COMPANY BY THEIR AD-ILLUMINATION, WHICH NOW I ALSO FEEL A FRAUDULENT ONE,NOT TO TURN YOUR FACE TO EVEN LOOK AT THEM. Infbeam.com ,a fraud online ecommerce company.

I recently tried making a purchase at Infibeam.com for a Philips DVD Player worth Rs 2159/. The prices were the lowest but by only Rs30 compared to other websites, however the the price that I had to pay for saving those 30Rs has now costed me Rs2159/-! Here is What happened: I place on order for Philips DVD player on Nov 13,2012 by going through their website and Logging in as a GUEST USER. This was the BIGGEST MISTAKE for this case- Signing up as a Guest user. As a guest user the site asked me for my email,shipping address, telephone number, followed by the payment options. I entered the details and made the payment via my banks (HDFC) Netbanking services. The payment went through successfully and the money debited instantly. After the payment I was directed to a order confirmation page in which i got Order Number i.e. 969****. HERE is the SCAM : Things got weird after this. After the order, I waited for sometime for an email confirmation which is the usual thing with other online shopping sites. However I did not recieve any confirmation from Infibeam that they had received my order, nor did I receive any SMS confirmation. So I called up the Customer care number at 79-4026**** and told them about my order. What was they told me next came as a SHOCK: They said that there was no such order in the system!!!! Not only this, they said - " Sorry we cannot help you " and tried to close the case. !! within 1 minute of the call. They did not discuss the matter further nor they seemed to be interested. So I stopped them and for the next few minutes I tried to explain my order process..that this is what I had done and that money has been debited.. but they simply said one sentence "Sorry we cannot help you" I was shocked. If you cannot help then who the *** will? The money had been debited from my account. So then I took Screen shots of my bank statement and the the order confirmation page and emailed the customer care "customerservice@***.com" both of screenshots are attached below. Infibeam Response: Next day, i.e. Nov 14, I recieved a response saying that they had indeed received my order and It was about to be shipped. This came as a relief however only to be shortlived. So I waited for the next few days and 5 days went by and there was no sign of any shipment. I againt contacted them at their call center - First they said that they are unable to find my order. After a few minutes of talking and explaining the problem, they changed their stance to - We found the order but it is STILL UNDER PROCESS. This was on Nov 19. What is this happening? Again a few days later i.e. on Nov 21 I emailed them saying - Where is my order? However I got no reponse. So I called up the call center only to find out that - My order had been wrongly shipped to BANGALORE!!!!!!! Shocking!!!!!! ! What is wrong with these guys and How is this possible!!! WHAT'S THE LATEST : Its been over 11 days since I placed an order. Till date I HAVENT received my order. I have emailed the customer care but there no reponse. I doubt I will be recieiving the product that I paid for. This has left us with no choice but to proceed to our local consumer forum court here in Chandigarh. ANALYSIS : Its clear that Infibeam.com has some serious lapses with its A)Guest User Ordering System B)Customer Support Service C)Transparency of Information WHAT NEXT: We are planning to take them to consumer forum and are consulting a Consumer Forum specialist Lawyer here in Chandigarh which is where I live. The lawyer has said that we have the proofs of Money debits and order confirmation page which is Enough to go after these guys at Infibeam.com Also, we contacted HDFC Bank inorder to find out the details of the client to whom the money was credited. They said the money was sent to CCAvenues.com customer, right now we are contacting CCAvenues for Account details of Infibeam.com and as soon as this is received we wil file for a Case ..apparently a Notice will be sent out to Infibeam.com first..; this will act as an additional proof against Infibeam. The question is not about Rs 2159/- but about - What if I had place an order for an Expensive item and they refused to acknowledge it. I hope those reading this will be cautioned and as an advice I would urge you to refrain from doing online shopping at Infibeam.com Its better to shell out a few extra bucks and be safe rather that be sorry.

Amazon's copycat has worst customer service

According to their return policy, I called them to return a product within the 30-day return policy. That call was made in October 2012, and it is now February 2013, but they have not yet processed the pick-up as they promised. Every time I call or email, they promise to forward the request to the concerned department, but no one gets back to me within the promised time. According to their instructions, the product has been packed and ready for pick-up since October 2012, but Infibeam has not yet picked up the product as they promised. Oh, and I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card holder, and Infibeam sent them a letter saying that I was holding the product back. Well, what can I say? Infibeam has a lot to learn from DailyObjects.com regarding customer service. And please, try to be original. The majority of their website is a copycat from Amazon.com, including the smile under 'Infibeam'. I am not sure if I am the only one, but I submitted a negative review on a product page back in January, which is yet to appear. I have a feeling Infibeam decided not to publish it. Maybe they publish only positive reviews. Conclusion: I hope that I never have to shop on Infibeam again, but if they ever process the return, they only give out the refund as a store credit. So, I don't know what to do. It's like saying "Here is some money for you to shop where you don't like to shop." STAY AWAY FROM INFIBEAM, especially, if you do not live in a major city.
